The annual Wreaths Across America Program was held at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Van Meter on Saturday December 12, 2015. Volunteers laid over 2000 wreaths at t…he gravesites of veterans. AMVETS Post 2 has participated in this event since it’s inception 8 years ago. For the past 3 years Post 2 has laid the wreaths at the gravesites of the Missing in America Project veterans laid to rest several years ago.
