A HUGE Thank You to Jean for her work on this year’s membership dinner. We had a great turn out for good food and fellowship. Service Awards were given out and a fun “Let’s Make a Deal” prize give-away were the highlights of the evening. We had 2 special guests, State President Nancy Carrier, and State 1st Vice President, Carol Finger. For those that have renewed their 2014-2015 membership – THANK YOU! If you have not, you can send your $20.00 dues to Jean Lanske 416 4th St. SW Waverly, Iowa 50677. Please have your dues paid by December 31st. Your membership is important to our Auxiliary. As an Auxiliary member, we are helping, caring and sharing for our community and for those who are serving and have served our country. Please renew today.

I would also like to thank the ladies who helped at our October food night. We continue our monthly food night to help raise funds for our various projects. In the past we have been able to give 2 scholarships to deserving High School students. We have also donated to AMVETS Auxiliary projects like: Saint Jude’s Hospital, John Tracy Clinics, PAWS with a Cause, Freedom Foundation, and the White Clover Fund. If you would like more information on these organizations you can go their websites. Better yet, plan to attend our monthly meeting and get involved.
