The Sons continue to collect cans for our scholarship fundraiser. The bin is located in the parking lot of the temporary site of the WAVP. Please continue to support this fundraiser.

As the summer ends, I would like all the current Sons members to consider renewing their membership for the upcoming year. Also, consider becoming more involved in our monthly meetings and in planning events that brings awareness of our veterans needs. If you know of a person that would qualify as a Sons of AMVETS member, please have them contact me, John Mohlis. Working together within the community for the needs of our veterans and their families is a big part of what our organizations is about.

The lucky winner of the chairs was Grady Warner from Onawa, Iowa, a retired Air Force buddy of Ed Abben.  The Sons would like to thank everyone that supported our fundraiser.
