Hello to all AMVETS members. Can you believe Thanksgiving is over and we are looking at December. Where did the time go.

We have lost another AMVETS member. Orville Fox passed away October 22nd. Our condolences goes out to the family.

December 2nd is the LZ Phoenix Christmas Gala at the WAVP. Doors open at 5:00PM. There will be a lottery, and silent and live auction. Tickets are $60 with a limit of 250 guest. For more in formation go to www.lzphoenixchristmasgala.com.

I have been a member of the AMVETS since 1990. We had member and outside businesses volunteer to work the steak fries, fish fries and other activities. Since that time the Amvets has become a part of a larger organization, WAVP. With this move we have more activities needing more volunteers. I feel we have less then 1% of the members volunteering for these events. Ask yourself if you have helped in anyway with any of the events at the WAVP. We have a very nice building and to keep it that way and also profitable, so we can help our fellow veterans, volunteers are needed to work these events. Please let us know if you can help, the WAVP belongs to all of us.
