We remember this time of year when a blazing star hung over a stable and wise men came and brought gifts. We celebrate it with stars on
Christmas trees, with music, and gifts – especially with gifts.
You give me a book and I’ll give you a tie. All of the stockings are full except the one we forgot to hang, the stocking for the child that was born in a manger. It’s his birthday we’re celebrating. Let us not forget it. Let us ask ourselves what He would wish for most, and then let each put in his share, loving kindness, warm hearts, and a stretched out hand of tolerance. All the shinning gifts that make peace on earth. What does Jesus want most? He wants us, all of us.
Many of you may have given your life to Him long ago and have gotten lost along the way with the many distractions of this life. Now is the time to give that ultimate gift and turn back. “Now is the reason for the season.” and it will give Him the one gift He is missing – you.
