It’s All Good

God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was good and there was evening and there was morning the sixth day. Genesis 1:31

As the days get shorter it is helpful to remember that everything God made was good. It is easy to forget that even the night is good. It is easy to forget that God created the storms and even the wild animals we occasionally see. When someone gets on our nerve it is easy to forget God made every one of us and indeed made us goo.

So during theese days of waiting and preparing for Christmas let us remember that everything God has made is good. And that includes us!

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you wre born I consecrated you” I appointed you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

There are few things that bring as much joy as the image of a baby’s first ultrasound on the screen for the first time.

The ultrasound machine, as we know it today was first used to detect flaws in ships. Then in the 70s the doctors started using it to observe babies in the womb. Until then there was no way for the doctors to observe the baby. However, it says in Jeremiah that God knew us even before we were born.
