• A big thank you to all ladies helping at the April Food night. It was another successful event. Also thank you to those that were there supporting our Auxiliary fundraiser. We will be having another Food night May 28th. We will be serving Hot Chicken sandwich, 2 sides, and a dessert for $7.00. Please continue to support our Auxiliary.
• April 25th several ladies went to the USO Show in Waterloo. This show was a fundraiser supporting the Honor Flight. Our National AMVETS Ladies President was there as part of her State tour. It was wonderful meeting her, enjoying a wonderful meal, a variety of entertainment, live and silent auctions, and various raffles.
• I would also like to thank our members for reporting their volunteer hour, miles, and dollar donations to our various projects. State AMVETS Convention is June 13-14 in Marshalltown and hopefully all the your volunteer efforts will be recognized as they have been in the past.
• Look for more information concerning Memorial Day Activities. AMVETS will be hosting this year.
