Please have your dues paid by December 15th. Your membership is important to our Auxiliary. As an Auxiliary member, we are helping, caring and sharing for our community and for those who are serving and have served our country. Please renew today.

“Thank You” to all the ladies helping with the men’s membership dinner and those that were a part of November’s food night. As we move closer to the end of 2014, we also are moving closer to the end of the VFW as we know it now. I wish to send out a BIG Thank you to the members of the VFW for their hospitality and allowing us to share in their club and giving us to opportunity to use their facility for our activities and meeting. We will have our regular food night in January and also our Super Bowl party. When we move to our temporary location we will have to discuss whether we can continue with food nights or possible find some other fundraising activities. No matter what the new year brings, we thank all for your continued support.

December 17th will be Hors D’Oeuvres party by the Auxiliary. This year we will have drawings for door prizes. Also we are collecting items to be donated to Marshalltown VA Home. An example of items are: full size bottles of shampoo, body lotion, body wash, lip balm, shaving cream, individually packaged toothbrushes and combs. Bring an item the night of the party and receive an extra chance for a door prize!
