Forms for the Auxiliary scholarships have been taken to the High School for our local, Department, and National AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship. If you have anyone needing a form you can get them also by contacting me.

In April we will be completing our 6 month’s service reports. Anyone collecting Hy-Vee receipts, box tops for education,  donations to Trinkets and Togs or Goodwill, Hospital or care facility Volunteer hours, blood donations or other items to be reported for Child Welfare, Community Service, Hospitals, or Americanism-please get those items to one of our officers or myself by  April 7th so we can add them to our reports. Our reports are sent into our Department of Iowa and also are reported to National AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and are used to show what our Auxiliary members are doing for their communities, our Veterans, and their families. It is important to show our Government officials work being done through AMVETS protecting the rights and privileges of  our Veterans.

Last month we had the honor of hosting National AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary President, Marvel Ruppel. She attended the Fish Fry on March 16th and enjoyed meeting and talking to our auxiliary members. She was also impressed when given a tour of our building. We wish Madam President a successful year.
