Forms for the Auxiliary scholarships have been taken to the High School for our local, Department, and National AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship. If you have anyone needing a form you can get them also by contacting me.

In the message below, National President Marvell Ruppel will be touring the WAVP on March 16th and attend the fish fry. This is a great way to show off what we have done at the WAVP and the work that AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary #79 in Waverly is doing. Please stop in, introduce yourself, and meet our National President. It was an honor to meet National Commander Polk in January and I am thrilled that our National President Ruppel will be touring Waverly, Cedar Falls, Evansdale, and IVH in Marshalltown.

There are a few ladies that have not renewed their membership for 2018. Remember that your $20.00 due does more than support our local community and our Veterans, it also gives us a bigger voice in Washington to assure that our Veterans receive all the benefits they deserve for protecting our country and defending our rights. Please reconsider renewing your membership.

National President Marvell Ruppel will be coming to Iowa.

You are invited to attend any activity.  She would like to meet as many Auxiliary members as she can.  Please let President Mary know you are coming so we can anticipate the numbers.  Mary’s phone number is 319/230-9318
